PARKING

Your parking stall is the 2nd stall in the parking lot in front of the stairs and mailbox. Please always lock your car and do not leave any valuables inside.

CHECKOUT

CHECK-OUT TIME is 11:00 AM

There is no need to meet with us on checkout. Please just leave the key on the dining table and lock the door. Please remember to turn off the air conditioner.

Could you please text us that you have checked out so our cleaners can prepare for the next guest. Thank you.

This is a NO Smoking apartment and building .

LATE CHECK OUTS:
Please contact us if you need a late check out. We will try to accommodate you but it will depend primarily on when the next guest is arriving. Also we use a professional cleaning company so we may not be able to change their schedule.

GROCERIES
Snacks, drinks,
water

A mini convenience store is a 1 minute walk away. Just walk straight down the alley past the trash bin and it is on the left. The alley gate is closed at night .

Ala Moana Shopping Center has 2 food courts and many other restaurants. One smaller food court, Lanai Court, is on the mall level (2nd floor) in front of Macys (5-minute walk).

For groceries, in Ala Moana Shopping Center there is a large Foodland Farms grocery store. Also inside the Target store they sell groceries Safeway on Piikoi St. has a nice large supermarket.

There is a Wal-Mart and Sam's Club a block from Ala Moana Center on Keeaumoku Street.

    
 

BEACH

There are 2 great beach very close.

A top beach in Hawaii is Duke Kahanamoku beach less than a 15 minute walk away. Duke Kahanamoku beach was rated as a top 10 best beach in America by www.drbeach.org. There is free parking, although could be limited during busy times, in back of the Ilikai Hotel. Drive straight back to the end by the ocean and parking is on the left and on the right on the long strip by the docked boats.

Another beach within a 15 minute walk is Ala Moana beach park. You can also drive since parking is free. Parking is normally available but on weekends it is more crowded.

For snorkeling in the Waikiki area the best beach is either Kaimana (Sans Souci) beach or Queen's beach on the East (Diamond Head) end of Waikiki. Park by Kapiolani park or the small street by the War Memorial Natatorium.

There are also over 100 beaches all over Oahu.

T.V.

The T.V. is a 50" Roku TV. We use Spectrum cable for TV and Internet. 
To watch TV click the HOME button, the top button on the remote, and select the blue Spectrum app on the Roku home page.

 1) The page that opens will be depend on the last viewing page. To go to the main menu click on the LEFT ARROW next to the HOME button on top of the remote. You may need to click on it one or more times. You will go to this page:     Live TV   Guide   Library   On Demand

2) Under the On Demand/Networks you can select any network and watch their past shows or movies.

3) When watching TV click on the Right Arrow for the TV guide. You can also hold the OK button for a few seconds to select types of shows.

GAS RANGE

This is a new gas range, 2022. It does not use a pilot light.

1) For Burners, turn knob all the way to "Lite" (past the "Hi" mark). You will here some clicking which is the igniter lighting the gas. Once the burner lights then turn knob to the heat you want.

2) For Oven, turn knob on to desired setting. It takes about 10-20 seconds before you can see the flames on the bottom of the range. It takes about 10-minutes to pre-heat to your desired setting.

3) The Broiler is in the bottom door of the range. Do not store anything there.

4) Sometimes you will smell a whiff of gas when you turn a burner On or Off, this is normal.

TRASH

Trash bags can be throw away in the large trash container in the parking lot.

LAUNDRY

A coin operated washer and dryer is in back of the building across from you. You walk around the building from the Left, fence side. Laundry soap is under the kitchen sink.


 

 

MEDICAL

Doctors of Waikiki, ph. (808) 922-2112. They have an on-call service and they also have an urgent care walk-in clinic.

Longs Drug Store (owned by CVS) and Walgreens have many stores nearby. Check their websites for locations.
